Southampton was wonderful, we enjoyed a beautiful weekend culminating in The Hampton Flea. Stylish men and women from the Hamptons turned out dressed to impress to shop the market which featured vintage designer pieces from brands like Hermes, Yves St. Laurent, Gucci and Goyard. The most fabulous vintage Clothing and Jewelry from Georgian and Victorian to Retro!
We were so pleased to find our Estate Jewelry Collection was exactly what they were looking for. It seems I'm not the only one smitten with collecting antique jewelry. Our new clientele resemebled more of a runway show than Flea Market shoppers. We were thrilled to have sold so many gorgeous fob chains, lockets, necklaces and cameos. We think our Southampton shoppers were as chic as could be! In addition to the market we enjoyed shopping and dining in town.
We’re back from the Hamptons and have an exciting week planned just for you! We love to host other local small businesses, especially when they are owned and operated by other women entrepreneurs.
Thursday we have a Trunk Show by Oui Boutique New York. The shop was a favorite of Upper East Siders and we were so sad when it closed earlier this year, but since then Carole Le Bris Perez has been creating fabulous posts and selling online. We are so excited to host her in our shop to once again offer her gorgeous jewelry in person!

A note from Jacqueline: The Sleepy Flea is a curated source for accessible vintage and antique home decor. I started The Sleepy Flea as a creative outlet during my new journey as a stay-at-home-mom in NYC after working in the advertising industry for ten years. I have always loved going to flea markets, estate sales, and antique malls to hunt for treasures. I started documenting my favorite finds on Instagram which eventually led to selling to friends and followers. I get emotionally attached to every piece I source and would happily keep them all in my own home if only I had the space! As a native Virginian turned New Yorker, my finds range in style from traditional and "grandmillennial" to mid-century and art deco. Some of my favorite things to collect are opaline, milk glass, chinoiserie, brass, and original artwork, but I come home with something new nearly every time I go hunting. In addition to buying what I love, I also offer sourcing services to designers and friends who are looking for something specific to grow a collection or complete a project.
