As a jewelry designer, I’m increasingly inspired by antique watch chains for their balance of strength, elegance, and history. Their weighty links, subtle imperfections, and time-worn patina offer a richness that modern manufacturing often can’t replicate. I especially love incorporating my clients’ own heirloom jewelry into these designs, allowing deeply personal pieces to be reimagined rather than left unworn. By transforming antique watch chains and heirloom elements into necklaces, bracelets, or modular components, I create contemporary pieces that feel authentic and intentional—honoring traditional craftsmanship while offering jewelry that’s versatile, sustainable, and layered with story.
