Pair of Vintage Bamboo Walking Sticks from the 1920's this pair has an amusing history. The husband of the woman who owned them claimed that she would use them as protection as she ran errands in her neighborhood on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. They don't offer any support for the walker but when used as a switch they were very effective keeping what she considered undesirables away.
We think they make a lovely decoration in our umbrella stand!
